Built for owner-operators

What a mile costs. What a missed deadline costs. Both, in one place.

Nine questions about your truck and the year assembles itself: IFTA quarters, Form 2290, KYU, the medical card, the periodic inspection, the new-entrant review — with the regulation or the form printed beside every line and the date it was read. Then it keeps counting the money: what is invoiced, what is forty-one days old, and what a wait at somebody else’s dock was supposed to be worth.

  • Every date cites the rule behind it
  • Money that is late, before it is lost
  • Alerts free on every plan

OOToolkit holds the dates, cites where each one came from, and files nothing on your behalf. It is informational — not legal, tax or insurance advice, and not a substitute for your accountant, broker or the authority itself.

The business side of the road

Less time behind a desk. More control over your business.

Keep the day-to-day details in one place, so you can find what matters and see what needs attention.

Loads

See what is scheduled, moving, delivered, or still waiting for action—along with appointments, miles, broker details, and notes.

Money

Keep revenue, driver pay, settlement details, and payment status organized so outstanding money is easier to spot.

Equipment

Track each unit, odometer readings, maintenance history, service costs, and what is coming due next.

Business records

Review trip summaries and daily certification history without digging through scattered notes and disconnected tools.

Truck-aware routes

Plan with vehicle size, weight, axle, hazmat, and permit information in mind. Routes that still need review stay clearly marked.

Free, and what it is worth

You are not buying the deadlines. You already had those.

What a free account keeps is the whole working set: loads, fuel, invoices, permits, documents, crew, quarterly tax estimates and every alert. What Core adds is depth on the same data — history, broker reputation, margin against your own records — and the removal of a five-load-a-month ceiling.

Free — $0

  • The deadline calendar, with the rule behind every line
  • Alerts on every channel, forever, at no cost
  • Loads, fuel, documents, permits, crew, tax estimates
  • Up to five loads a month

Core — $15 a month

  • Unlimited loads, invoices and detention claims
  • Multi-year charts, exports, IFTA return export
  • What carriers say about a broker
  • Margin against your own cost per mile

What you get today

The free plan is the whole working set with a five-load ceiling; Core is the same data with the depth attached, and the whole split is on this page before anybody reaches a checkout. A price list you are only allowed to read after committing to it is not a price list.

How it works

Put the important work where you can see it.

Owner Operator Toolkit keeps the workflow straightforward, from planning the load to reviewing the business record.

  1. Set up the business

Add the equipment and information you use regularly, so it is ready when you need it.

  2. Work the load

Record the load, plan with the truck in mind, and keep the current status visible throughout the trip.

  3. Close the loop

Review payment, maintenance, and trip records without rebuilding the story from paperwork later.

Truck-aware routing

Plan around the truck—not just the shortest line on a map.

Enter a start, a truck-access destination, and the vehicle you are driving. Owner Operator Toolkit will build a live route preview and keep anything that still needs review clearly marked.

How Owner Operator Toolkit handles the result

The requested path is checked against the truck profile and available restriction information. If clearance or road evidence is incomplete, the result stays a preview that needs driver review.

Always follow current signs, closures, permits, carrier policies, and official restrictions.

Know what needs attention

A workspace organized around the next decision.

Your business information should help you act—not make you search through another pile of screens.

  • See active work and upcoming appointments.
  • Spot unpaid revenue and pending settlements.
  • Keep upcoming maintenance from becoming a surprise.
  • Send a load directly into the route planner.

Dependable by design

Straight answers about your records and routes.

Your business records are private to your account.

Equipment, load, pay, maintenance, and trip information is tied to the signed-in owner.

Route uncertainty stays visible.

A route that needs clearance, restriction, permit, or closure review remains marked for review instead of being presented as cleared navigation.

Your judgment remains part of the process.

Owner Operator Toolkit supports the work. It does not replace current road signs, permits, carrier policies, or driver responsibilities.

Questions worth answering first

Before you decide whether this is for you.

What does it cost?
Nothing on the free plan, and never on alerts. A free account keeps the whole working set — loads, fuel, invoices, permits, documents, crew, quarterly tax estimates, the deadline calendar — with a ceiling of five loads a month. Core is $15 a month and buys depth on the same data: unlimited loads and invoices, multi-year charts, what carriers say about a broker, margin against your own cost per mile. Both are plans rather than a trial: the free one is what you run the week on, and Core is that same data with the history and the proof attached, from the month you subscribe to the month you cancel.
Does OOToolkit file anything for me?
No, and the calendar says so on screen. It keeps the date, prints the regulation, form or agreement the date comes from, and interrupts you while there is still time. The filing itself happens where it always happens: the state portal, the IRS, the FMCSA Clearinghouse, your insurer.
How do you know my deadline is on that date?
Because a rule is applied to a date you own. Most federal deadlines are cadences rather than fixed days — quarterly, the month after first highway use, an anniversary, once and never again — so the calendar takes your authority date and the day the truck first went on the road and works the year out from there. Every line carries its citation and the day that citation was read, the library is re-checked every quarter, and anything that cannot be cited is not allowed onto your calendar.
Do I have to hand over my email address to be told a deadline is closing?
No. In-app alerts and push notifications need no email address at all; email is a channel you can switch on and off per alert type. The channels a deadline travels by are free on every plan, which is the only policy that makes the dates trustworthy.
What can I use before creating an account?
The demo workspace: a whole imaginary carrier — a load, a forty-one-day invoice, a detention claim, permits about to expire, a roadside packet you can download and print. Plus the guides and the cost-per-mile calculator, both public, both cited. Nothing in that sequence asks for an email address.

Ten minutes as a carrier, with nothing to sign.

The demo truck carries a load, an overdue invoice, a detention claim and permits about to expire. Nothing you type is saved.
